What is the Purpose of Education? Today, I was thinking of why we have chosen to develop our lives around education. As cliché as it may sound, I wanted and still want to contribute positively to the lives of all people. I want to collectively redefine education to build learning-focused, sustainable communities that are interconnected and benefit from inclusion. As I build capacity, knowledge and skills, I have a greater understanding of the far-reaching effects of schooling and the need for equal access to educational opportunities. As we contribute to our classrooms, schools and communities, we should remind ourselves of the ' what' and 'why:'                            What is the purpose of education?                            What are we trying to achieve and how?                                            Why should we continue developing our schools?
